Hey, everyone. Thanks for stopping by to check out Opinion Party, the podcast where we examine the most pervasive myths in modern marketing through the cold, cruel lens of data. I'm your cohost, Laura Jones. And together with Jason Gajkowski, we've got an exciting season of episodes planned just for you. Opinion party is something we've been saying for a long time talking to clients.

We bring data to the opinion party. Ain't no party like a data party because the data party don't stop. I am not gonna stop with these party double entendres here.

But we really found that when you do bring data to the opinion party, you can kinda cut through all of that crap, so to speak. And it's really hard to argue with with data and with the years and years of data, thirty years, in fact, that we have at our disposal, not only with the BrandNAS evaluator dataset, but with all of the amazing academic research and research that the field is constantly keeping updated.

I've been in this business for twenty five plus years. I was very, very fortunate to train with some of the founders and originators of Brand Asset Valuator, the world's largest, most comprehensive longitudinal study of brands. I'm a bit of a research nerd, but, you know, my experience isn't purely academic. I've had the good fortune of doing brand based business consulting with some of the biggest and most important brands on the planet.

I've been doing this for over twenty years as well, talking to some of the world's biggest brands, helping them grow, helping to understand and diagnose why they're not growing, what's wrong, why they're sick, playing a little bit of a brand therapist, if you will.
